New for Fall 2010, these thread protectors are a very versatile design that will add a lot of class to your project.
 Originally made to compliment our new .750 Heavy Sporter Taper Tensioned Barrels, and to match our existing fluted and knurled charging handles and magazine release extensions for the 10/22, we were pleasantly surprised when we tried one of these on our Smith and Wesson 422 pistol and found it to be light years better than the cheesy little protector that most are using.

We like to use a small drop of blue Lock-Tite or equivilant during installation to secure the protector semi-permanently yet still allow it to be removed when desired.
