A Revolutionary new design of Quantum Rifle Barrel based on several years of Quantum Rifle barrel development! The shank portion remains a full .920 diameter for four inches, then it tapers to a .750 diameter over the next 8 or so inches of barrel to a .750 diameter and holds that diameter for the final four inches of barrel so the nose portion is all .750 that is forward of the fore arm.
Pictured from above (click on small photo to enlarge) installed into a standard .920 bull barrel stock, you can see the heavy taper contour. This is the first taper tensioned barrel of its kind.
New for Winter 2010, there are new additions internally to this new design that provide a natural dampening effect, thus making the harmonics more consistent than ever before. More consistently tuned and controlled harmonics makes this barrel the barrel of choice for any "Top Shelf" Ruger 10/22 build, whether it be used in a Sporter or a Tactical platform, it is simply a matter of which chamber selection you make based on the type of shooting you wish to do.
