New technology and manufacturing methods abound from breech face to printed target. The 17+” long, 22 ounce barrel you will receive will meet or exceed your expectations because it has been tuned to meet the most stringent quality control standards possible. It has been tuned and fully bench tested before you ever receive it, under controlled conditions, with live ammo. No other production 10/22 rimfire barrel Manufacturer that we know of goes to this length to ensure that what you paid for is exactly what you get. And then some.
- From it’s laser engraved steel tenon shank to the threaded nose that has been verified for bore concentricity, the Quantum rifle barrel picks up where other choices leave off.
- Verified outdoor 50 yard targets have been produced hovering around an amazing ¼” Center To Center measured group size for five shots with unsorted ammo so many times by so many different people ranging from some of the largest Gun Shop owners in North America to long range shooting enthusiasts as far reaching as Asia to local shooting competitors and everywhere in between. - • Available in two distinct chamber profiles, “Standard Match” and the new for 2009 “M” chamber designed specifically to maximize the CCI Fine Family of rimfire ammunition choices. Either way you can get accuracy not commonly found in ANY 10/22 rimfire barrel.
- • The new 2009 convex extractor groove along with its mated concave tooth-ed extractor provides reliability of extraction that NO OTHER 10/22 rimfire barrel can. Because both the extractor tooth and the extractor groove have been profiled to match the cartridges natural curvature, the extractor tooth is able to grab 100% of the area behind the cartridge rim. It makes no sense whatsoever to produce a convex extractor groove without a profile matched extractor tooth, without the specially profiled extractor, you have gained NOTHING.
- • The Standard Match chamber is designed around the Wolf MT cartridge, long accepted in rimfire circles as the most accurate ammo for the least monies spent, a true benchmark in shooting value. The Quantum provides incredible performance for all of the standard dimension ammo choices, and is fully tested for cycling reliability using Federal American Eagle and/or Federal Champion Blue Box as an inexpensive ammo choice to prove cycling reliability with plinking grade ammunition as well.
- • This barrel choice breaks into new territory with its uncanny ability to both digest inexpensive ammo and yet produce bet winning results from $5 a box unsorted ammo time after time….after time after time. Go ahead and run some expensive ammo through this barrel, then decide if the price of the expensive ammo is worth it.
- • As another option for the avid shooter in 2009 is the new “M” CHAMBER, a completely ground up chamber design formed to the different needs of the larger dimension CCI Family of ammo choices. With this chambering choice you can shoot for laser precision accuracy using CCI Standard Velocity or Pistol Match ammo, then go out into the field using Mini Mags or Velocitors, something other barrel choices have a very difficult time accomplishing, or when they do the results are far less than what is possible.
- This new chamber offering has fast become a local favorite because of its keen ability to digest virtually any ammo choice with no finiky characteristics yet still outshoot your Buddy simply by changing the fodder at the switch of a magazine. In a higher volume Tactical or plinking type rifle, no other choice even comes Close. These CCI fine ammo choices have long suffered from a lack of a dedicated rimfire chamber made specifically to their dimensions, now the results are in and these ammos really can shoot much better than previously thought.
