The top edge wasn't flat and stuck out above my trigger housing. Once I figured this out I was able to fix it with a file in a few minutes. Works good now and makes releasing the bolt much easier.

Just installed it without a hitch. I like this design much better than the slotted auto bolt releases other have on the market. Not only is it easier to operate but it also looks better because it doesn't protrude as much as the other after market auto bolt releases out there. Buy this..you won't regret it.

Nice part, would have given 5 stars if it fit into my gun without sanding. RT responded quickly to resolve my problems (greatly appreciated). Wish the part would have just fit though. I tried it first in a 1982 vintage 10/22 and then a brand new 2009 model with plastic trigger housing - fit was exactly the same in both guns.
