- Every Quantum barrel we sell has been meticulously assembled, tested on a target to verify performance, and carefully inspected before final packaging and delivery.
- There are two new offerings the Fall 2009 for the HM2 cartridge conversion on the 10/22 Charger Pistol platform.
- Our 8 inch version of the light weight tensioned aluminum sleeved barrel provides a very compact and versatile option that is not exceedingly nose heavy like an all steel barrel of similar length and diameter would be. As with all of our Quantum barrel offerings, the nose comes as standard threaded 1/2X28 for accessories utilizing class 2A all stainless threads. Corrosion resistant, the standard steel muzzle cap also provides both a more steady weighted point to target as well as protection for the threaded muzzle. The muzzle cap can also be substituted or replaced by our new reverse blow re-coil reducing comp, or any number of other 1/2X28 threaded barrel accessories commonly found in the 10/22 custom market.
- Accuracy is not a problem for the 8” 17HM2 offering, the 8” Quantum Pistol barrel can rival many much longer HM2 rifle barrel offerings while maintaining half the length and weight of even a lightweight 10/22 rifle barrel. If a lightweight, compact, well balanced and exceedingly accurate 17HM2 Charger Pistol package is up your alley, then look no further.
- Another benefit is the relative cost savings and added value pricing that the 8” Quantum barrel option enjoys due to a lower materials and labor cost passed on to the customer. In our testing, the 8” length has also allowed the use of a factory standard weight bolt as well as a conventional type charging handle, such as our Modular Charging handle, and the new R/T One Piece Tactical charging handle assemblies, when using our heavy charging handle spring option. In this manner conversion costs are kept down while performance and enjoyment are way up!
