R/T’s Silver Matte Bolts are superbly re-finished, surface ground to final dimension, a much more exacting means to accurately and consistently head space your bolt.
 The  rear radius has been expertly installed by seasoned technicians, and the firing pin has been both pinned and re-profiled to perfection. For 2009 ignition performance is second to no other Ruger 10/22 offering.

• Our bolts are correctly headspaced to .0425-.043 utilizing a specialized surface grinding procedure. What this means is that we can hold much tighter tolerances for better ignition performance, and we can know with certainty that we have a square mating to the breech face. Don’t let some “Genius” with a Chinese Mill mess up your custom project.
• Next the radius has been expertly performed to both cycle more reliably as well as perfectly mate up to our new for 2009 Temporary Bolt Locking mechanism, no other bolt can do this because their radius profile was not installed with our bolt lock in mind.
• Not only has the firing pin been re-profiled and hand dressed, but now the firing pin has also been pinned in response to popular demand.
